Home-grown in Southwest Michigan, I grew up near Kalamazoo, graduating from Parchment High School in 1998. I've been "in the biz" for over a decade and have worked in several West Michigan markets. Currently, I live in Kalamazoo. I love attending all of the various Arcadia Creek site's summer festivals so you might catch me downtown a lot of weekends. I enjoy history, sports, music, astronomy, traveling, and disc golfing. I cheer for the Detroit Lions, Red Wings, Tigers, and Pistons. I also am a huge Western Michigan Broncos fan.
I began my radio career in 1999 at WKZO in Kalamazoo as a sports producer. My first on air show was late night weekends on sister station 106.5. After that I worked as a news writer and reporter for WBCK in Battle Creek. In 2004, I went to Grand Rapids doing traffic and news reports for several West Michigan stations. That led to my first full-time radio show as a Top 40 afternoon host in Muskegon. In late 2004, I returned to Kalamazoo as a teacher's assistant and music director for Kalamazoo Public Schools now defunct EFE Radio Broadcasting classes. In 2005, I began working in television behind the scenes as camera operator and studio floor director for WWMT Channel 3. In fall of 2008, I returned to radio here at 103.3 WKFR .
